HACC Defeats Passaic County, 77-68, on the Road
Harrisburg, PA - Harrisburg Area Community College earned a 77–68 road victory over Passaic County Community College on Saturday afternoon at PCCC, using balanced scoring and a strong rebounding effort to pull away in the second half.
HACC led 39–34 at halftime after a steady first half on both ends of the floor. The visitors maintained control after the break, outscoring Passaic County 38–34 in the second half to secure the win.
Eli Vega led HACC with a game-high 18 points, shooting 7-of-12 from the field while adding three steals and a block. Dustin Littles provided an offensive spark off the bench, finishing with 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Kaden Folk also chipped in 13 points and pulled down nine rebounds in a strong reserve performance.
John McNeil posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while also contributing five assists and four steals. William Bryd was dominant on the boards, grabbing a team-high 12 rebounds to help HACC control the glass, 47–33.
HACC shot 44.0 percent from the field and forced 22 turnovers, using defensive pressure to disrupt Passaic County's offensive rhythm throughout the contest.
For Passaic County, Shindon Thompson led the way with 18 points and 10 rebounds, including four three-pointers. Jaquis Davis added 18 points off the bench, while Tyler Williams finished with 10 points and six assists.
Passaic County shot 43.1 percent from the floor and a perfect 9-for-9 from the free-throw line, but was unable to overcome HACC's depth and rebounding advantage.
