Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks women's soccer team defeated the Lehigh Carbon Cougars in Overtime 5-4 in Saturdays match. The win was the first of the season for the HACC Hawks.
Lauren Roeske came up big for the HACC Hawks, scoring five goals against the Cougars. Both teams battled for the lead as the gap closed ending the match in a tie 4-4. The teams then headed into Overtime and the Hawks gave one final push to capture the win 5-4. Four minutes into Overtime Lauren Roeske scored her fifth goal to push the team past the Cougars for a victory. Apshana Monger made her debut in the net with 11 saves for the Hawks.
The Hawks women's soccer team will hit the road on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2022 to face Montgomery County Community College. The game is set to start at 12 noon.
