HACC Hawks Men’s Basketball Falls to Mighty Oaks on the Road
Harrisburg, PA – The HACC Hawks men's basketball team faced the Might Oaks of Salem Community College Saturday, in a tough match-up. The HACC Hawks put up a strong team effort, but fell to the Centurions 110-66.
Salem Community College came out strong and took the lead the first half setting the tone for the game. The Hawks battled back as they worked to gain momentum, however they were unable to capture the lead, ending the first half 51-31. The second half, the Hawks worked together to close the gap shooting 93.8% at the charity stripe. The Hawks captured 35 points the second half, working to cruise by the Mighty Oaks. The Mighty Oaks offense was just too strong and held the lead, collecting 59 more points on the board to surpass the Hawks. The Mighty Oaks captured the win over the Hawks; 110-66.
Leading the pack was Jaiden Baltimore who was just shy of a double-double with a game high of 24 points with seven rebounds. Isaiah Bostic followed, capturing 13 points with eight rebounds. Trey Slayton rallied 12 points for the Hawks with two rebounds and three assists. Vincent Fonticoba was just short of a double-double rallying 11 points and seven rebounds.
